2-4 hours: Oxycodone is a short-acting drug, and takes about 20-30 minutes to get into bloodstream and brain, and then lasts an additional 2-3 hours. If it is injected or inhaled through the nose (snorting) it takes effect in a few minutes but still only lasts additional 2-3 hours. It's metabolites, however, can be detected in urine for several day, but aren't necessarily clinically active.

How much time to percocet/oxy withdrawals last for?

Percoset withdrawals: This can be highly variable depending on how much of the medicine you have been taking, how long and your tolerance for the medicine. The time can be several hours so several weeks but usually only several days. The cravings for the medicine may from weeks to a lifetime but this is not withdrawals. Some may need Methadone or Suboxone for the rest of their lives.
