Can you tell me how is cholesterol levels increased in our bodies?

Dr. Jesus Yap answered

Balance: The level of cholesterol in our blood is determined by the balance between how much our body makes and how much it is metabolized or broken down. The source is from our diet and what the liver makes. The left over, after the body uses what cholesterol it needs is taken back to the liver through receptors and eliminated as bile or recycled back to make cholesterol again
