Life style and meds: Engaging in vigorous exercise, at least 150 minute/week is the best approach. Reduce intake of saturated fats. If you smoke, quit, if you are overweight, lose weight. Do this for at least six months and retest. If that does not work you should see your doctor to see if medication may be needed.
