?: What type of protein is your baby allergic to? Most common is milk protein and it can manifest as blood in stool in an otherwise normal, healthy baby. Alternatively a different type of allergy can cause vomiting/ hives/ swelling / wheezing/ coughing etc. Which does your child have? Treatment varies for the different type of allergy although avoidance is the simple answer for both.
