Why do you ask?: People who are troubled, feel different, feel excluded, or who lack social skills for whatever reason are prone to take others' comments -- even if well-meant -- hard. These people may also talk about themselves and their most personal stuff in an effort to find out how to live better. There's little point in making diagnoses when there's no specific Rx beyond learning to live more skilfully.

Yes: These are indeed quite common to experience with Asperger's. The failure to pick up on social cues can lead to the over-sharing, and the hyper-sensitivity can be a reaction to the social impairment (i.e., the person knows they don't act like other people and becomes anxious about it).
