Yes: Benign lung tumors make up about 5% of lesions found in the lung. The majority are malignant i.e. squamous Ca , adenoCa and small cell neuroendocrine tumors. Among the rare but frequent benign lung lesions are the a) Hamartoma : made up of tissue from the lung's lining as well as tissue such as fat and cartilage. Then there are the b) Bronchial Adenomas and c) lesions from inflammation.
