on pills but having breakthrough bleeding for a week don't take pills on time one day missed pill next week "sugar" pills and sexually active pregnant?

Get a pregnancy test: The pill is safe but user dependent. If you have trouble remembering to take it, you may better suited for other methods such as an iud, depot or subcutaneous hormonal implant.

Safe: If you took all your BCPs regardless of the time zone change, you are safe. Since your periods are not normal you can't use that to judge.
