A member asked:

No problems if i take as doctor prescribed for me for deppresion (10mg cepralex+25mg amitriptylin)daily forever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably ok: There are no known long-term consequences of either of these medications. They've both been on the market for a number of years and seem just as safe now as when they were new. As part of your regular physical exam, your doctor will check blood tests for liver function to make sure none of your meds are affecting it.
