A member asked:

My 1 year old walks kinda on the side of his feet and he is very bow legged could this affect him later in life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Bowed legs are common in toddlers. Bowing begins to slowly improve at around 18 months of age. If one leg is more severely bowed than the other an xray may be recommended. Otherwise just be patient and keep an eye on it with your doctor.
