My one year old walks all the time but last night he started walking with his right foot and dragging his left foot behind him what could this mean?

A host of things...: your toddler appears to have developed a sudden onset of an abnormal gait and needs a very careful evaluation by a clinician exclude an injury, infection or a neuromuscular event urgently!

Gait in Children: Right now it means absolutely nothing. Children are very awkward, with variable gaits, and you have to observe consistent patterns over time. Play with the child's feet and legs when they are laying on their backs. See if you can spot a big difference in tone in one leg. Also watch them attempt to stand or crawl, see how symetrical they are. If you can still concerned, see your pediatrician.
