My son (2 years old) fell while running and cannot put one foot in the ground. movements of the foot are ok, but he cannot walk. need a doctor's recommendation?

A kid will refuse to resume walking to avoid pain triggered by an injury. How involved that injury would be requires an exam. This can be present anywhere from the toes up to the hips. An x-ray may not be needed if an exam reveals it to be more muscle/ligament in origin.
