How many years does puberty in males last? at what point do they stop getting taller?

3-4 years: When a male develops facial hair and the genital hair extends unto the lower abdomen and upper thighs, height growth slows a lot, and one can only expect minimal growth at that time. Average onset of genital growth is about 12 years but some males start earlier and some are several years later. Family history seems to have a big impact. Also, some families tend to have minimal body hair.
