Very long : 12 days is a very long cycle. We may not be able to give you a reason but there are many solutions. Birth control can be used to shorten the cycles. Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can be used to eliminate them. Lysteda is a non hormonal pill that can be used to shorten and lighten.
