Epidural Neurolysis: The above is the medical term for the racz procedure named after the doctor. It is used to release scar tissue from around nerves in the epidural space of the spine . It is a natural event following surgery. Under a flouroscope a local anesthetic, corticosteroid are put in and a concentrated salt solution is used to soften the scar tissue. Do not be scared, it should give relief.
