Chest wall pain: Rib or thoracic pain is most likely posttraumatic in nature. Has there been an injury? Associated tingling in the chest would suggest neuritis of the intercostal nerves. This would be an inflammation of those nerves coursing along the ribs. Tingling can be a heralding precursor to more unusual conditions like shingles or transverse myelitis. A medical evaluation would be advise for persistent sxs.
