Hi, again!: Thanks for more details. Probably best to see your doctor who will probably order an MRI of the brain (brain MRI if whole side of face is affected; neck MRI if area by jaw or ear is affected). Probably not neuromuscular...Could be a pinched nerve or inflammation of some nerve , less likely could be ms or a tumor, but you'd probably have more symptoms. Not to worry, just get it checked.
