Lifestyle changes: Have you altered your diet yet? Avoiding caffieine, alcohol, smoking, chocolate, spicy foods, etc. If still no relief, talk to your doctor.

Try some Antacids: Tums (calcium carbonate) or rolaids may help after each meal and at bed time especially if you are taking aspirin, Ibuprofen or naproxen(nsaids)--take care--see your md if sx. Persist.

GERD: You could elevate the head of the bed. (place blocks under the headboard frame so the whole head of the bead is elevated, not just the use of pillows). Also, try to avoid specific foods that you notice to cause increased reflux.
