Not sure: White around the tonsils could be evidence of a bacterial or yeast infection. If the lines are very faint it may just be your normal throat coloration. A very bright red throat with white drainage usually means infection.

Reason for concer: It's hard to evaluate this without seeing you. It's possible it's nothing to worry about but other etiologies to consider would be infection, thrush, lichen planus or postnasaldrip. Gargle with salt water a few times/day for the next 3d ; see if it resolves. If not, go see your primary care provider.
