Should trade name or generic drugs be affordable for retirees and people on social security?

Believe they should: Price of most drugs, except fro some generics is far too high in the usa. Can often find brand name drugs in europe cheaper than generics in the us. Some drug companies offer trade name drugs at a discount to subjects who can not afford to pay the outrageous asking price. Please write to your senators & representative requesting their action to bring down prices of brand name drugs & fight lobbies.
