India : Is not the worry it is generics in general. Some drugs should never be taken in generic form because a generic by definition can vary from brand in strength , high or low, by20% and be considered equivalent . That is a huge difference for some medications. Patients can tell especially for some psych meds when even different generics are changed. Heretics are just not the same as brand some matter.

Yes: Unless generics are produced in the U.S. There is always a risk when they are produced in countries that do not have aggressive laws to govern control of quality.
