Motility disorder: This sounds like an esophageal manometry study suggestive of either diffuse esophageal spasm or a subtype of achalasia. Differentiating between the two would require knowledge of whether the lower esophageal sphincter sufficiently relaxes during swallowing. Your gastroenterologist should be able to interpret this for you. If it is achalasia (which i suspect), several treatments are available.
