Sorry, but no...: The LINX procedure utilizes a ring of magnets implanted at the juncture between esophagus and stomach. The magnets stay together, creating a tight ring until you swallow. The peristaltic wave then forces the magnets apart temporarily, letting food enter your stomach. If you have no peristalsis, then the LINX device is not for you.

Dunno: It is one of many, many tightening systems for GERD. They all work but if you have the same situation, you get the same result (the previous operations have tended to fail over the long term and come right back to where you were).
