Underlying cause: You should talk to your child's doctor about sources of reinfection: pacifiers, bottle nipples, your breasts, if your son also has oral thrush. If not, just being in wet diapers predisposes a baby to candidal rashes. Make sure you are changing him often. There is also an oral medication that might be appropriate; speak to your child's doctor.
