19 mo old w/ yeast infection for 2 wks. tried nystatin, monistat, clotrimazole, zinc oxide, triple paste, maloxx, & no diaper. not working, its worse.

"diaper rash": A number of conditions cause so called "diaper rash." i wonder about the duration of treatment rendered since 6 different creams, independently or in combination, have been used in 2 weeks period. If no response to Nystatin was observed in a week, the child is unlikely to have yeast infection unless immunocompromised. Seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and zinc deficiency are other possibilities.
