Rule out: Raynaud's disease. It is a rare disorder of the blood vessels, usually in the fingers and toes. The cause is unknown, but the phenomenon is a problem with blood flow. Because the body limits blood flow to the hands and feet, it makes the fingers or toes feel cold and numb. Rec.: see your pcp for further investigation.
