I know chronic appendix is rare but is the pain constant or come & go for months like it hurts today & months later again ?

Not likely: ...For chronic appendicitis to be a cause of pain like that you describe. Although chronic appendicitis can cause either pattern of pain, it is much less likely than other potential causes of right-sided abdominal pain. You should be evaluated, since your pain has been recurrent. Good luck.
