Always try to save: Always try to save it, if at all possible. It may take 50 years for a new one to grow...

Best choice: Best choice, most of the time, is to try to save the tooth with root canal treatment and a crown. That said please consult with both an endodontist about the root canal prognosis, and your general dentist about the necessary crown, before making a final decision.

Depends: If tooth is badly broken down or has a complex root configuration, it may be a better idea to sacrifice the tooth and consider an implant as a more predictable option. Get another opinion and evaluate pros and cons of both treatments.

Microscopic endodont: The prognosis is only as good as the person doing the evaluation and treatment. Get another opinion from a tor rated microscopic endodontist!
