Check w Dr again: I'm sorry to hear about it.... After trauma, the pain you are experiencing could be from the tooth itself, or from the ligaments that hold the tooth getting "bruised" so to speak. If the tooth is causing the pain, it is not good, as it may have broken in the root. If the pain is from "bruised" ligament, it can heal. Avoid chewing to lessen the pressure on the tooth for now, then check back w/ dr.
