Can twins cause an early false pregnancy test i mean like at 2 or 3 weeks after ivf?

Clarify please?: Serum pregnancy tests are reliable at less than 2 weeks following embryo transfer in ivf, regardless of number. Does this help? If not, clarify the question please.

Pregnancy test: If you had a retrieval 2 - 3 weeks ago and the test is positive, the test isn't early and you are pregnant. Still, the pregnancy may not continue so your doctor may continue to monitor the levels to see if they are going up appropriately. Then, a sonogram will confirm the pregnancy. Still, you can miscarry so you should follow your doctor's instructions.
