80% stenosis treated: It is likely that the 80% stenosis will be treated prior to performing the cabg. It may be done at the same setting depending on the severity of the coronary disease.

Carotid CABG: Whatever is untreated may cause a problem. If CABG urgent then proceed and consider simultaneous CEA/CABG. If not, consider staged procedures. If coronary PTA/stent an option instead of CABG then proceed. Carotid stent placement a consideration but would need to be on plavix (clopidogrel) for at least a month thus delaying CABG. If drug eluting coronary stent placed I would go ahead with CEA whIle on plavix (clopidogrel).
