Colon polyps?: If you are referring to colon polyps, they are prophylactically removed during colonoscopy because they can eventually evolve into a colon tumor/cancer. A polyp is usually a benign fleshy growth and can occur in many different parts of the body.

Most Polpys are : Benign. Some are precancerous or malignant.Ask ur dr about the pathology report. If u don't have a strong family history of colon cancer or u don't have other symptoms such as abdominal pain, stool bleeding, weight loss, anemia etc. I won't worry about it. Take care ; god bless u! http://www.Medicinenet.Com/script/main/mobileart.Asp?Articlekey=7761.
