Long half-life: Suboxone has a long half-life 24-48 hours. It takes approximately 6 half lives for a drug to be eliminated from your system. 48*6/24 =12 days. Hope it helps.

LONG ENOUGH: Based on studies performed with Suboxone, buprenorphine has an average half-life from 24 – 60 hours and naloxone half-life ranges from 2 – 12 hours. The relatively long half-life of buprenorphine has been designed to help treat and manage opiate withdrawal symptoms, by maintaining opioid partial agonist levels in the brain. SO along time. Why I wonder? I hope you will maintain your sobriety.
