Discuss with doctor: Venlafaxine or other antidepressants may cause mania or hypomania. Thc can complicate treatment of bipolar disorder. You are already aware that (fingolimod) gylenia is for tx of ms. Notice that you are also a social drinker which can be problematic with bipolar disorder. Please sit down and discuss this with your physician/ physicians.

MS/depression: Alcohol can worsen depression and bipolar disorder and should not be used with the medications that you are taking. See your prescribing physician for the drug to drug interactions and side effects. Please stop drinking alcohol.

Agree for most part.: Gilenya (fingolimod) is a highly effective MS drug, and venlafaxine should help your depression. THC may interact adversely with Gilenya (fingolimod), but we are not fully certain, and where I live, in Colorado, marijuana is fully legal and many MS pts use it to help spasticity. Would recommend you discuss further with your neurologist. Add vitamin D-3 if not already using.
