Been reported: Other serotonin reupake inhibitors (ssri) have been known to cause menstrual changes, including what you described. Heavy menstrual period is mentioned in the citalopram information from the fda, which is not exactly what you experienced but related: http://www.Fda.Gov/downloads/drugs/drugsafety/ucm088568.Pdf.
