Cipralex: Cipralex is another name for escitalopram, a ssri antidepressant. When it's prescribed for depression, most people need to stay on it for 9 months to a year before considering tapering -- and then only if stable. Sometimes depressive symptoms return, and the medication needs to be restarted. Some need to stay on it indefinitely, and this is safe. Discuss with your doctor, who knows you best.

Side effects?: If you don't have side effects (stomach cramping, bloating, shaking hands etc), there is no reason to stop the medication.
