How long can your first period last after giving birth. on day 6 and it's still at a normal flow. not looking like spotting any time soon.

Varies : The first period is usually 3-6 weeks later. Often the first period is a little off from your norm. It is often too long or too short. Too heavy or two light. Things usually get back to normal after that. If you are breast-feeding irregularity may continue. Birth control will regulate you if needed.
