Nasal turbinates : The nasal turbinates are on the lateral side of the nose on each side of the nasal cartilage. The inferior one may be large enough to be visualized. Typically pink ; it often times becomes a swollen red or a dusky blue. Ensure that there are no accidental foreign bodies in the nasal opening!
