Dr. Marc Neff answered

Anxiety heart rate: Certain similarities exist between medial conditions in the symptoms that lead to the diagnosis. One common symptom, an elevated heart rate, can be seen in a variety of conditions from adrenal problems, to a hyperactive thyroid, to heart disease like atrial fibrillation. If you measure your heart rate, and it is over 90-100 beats per minute, you should seek medical attention.
