What could cause elevated T4 total (11.5)? The ref range is 4.9-10.5. Free T4 (3.6), TSH (1.15), T3 total (114), and T3 uptake (31) were all normal. Symptoms of fatigue and GI (nausea, bad appetite and weight loss).is this Overactive Thyroid?
25 yr old F, hyperthyroid and taking Carbimazole since 2016 had RAI (10mci) 2 weeks ago (stopped Carbi before 1 wk). Now, FT4 is 3.67 ng/dl and TSH is 0.008 mu/l. Do I have to do RAI again? Should I restart Carbimazole? Heart rate 120 beats/min?
