I'll bet so: I'm trusting this is indirect bilirubin. One way to be sure is to think back -- if there's ever been a time when you were sick and didn't eat for a few days, or did a religious fast for a few days, Gilbert folks get a bit jaundiced. It's a non-problem. Best wishes.

Why would gilbert's syndrome not be diagnosis until middle age if genetic? No history of elevated bilirubin prior to 6 mos ago; other lfts were elevated, now ok.
Indirect bilirubin 1.6, direct 0.3. Direct is only 0.1 above normal. Dr. Said gilbert's. Abdominal u/s normal. Gilberts?
I have had two blood tests recently, one measured bilirubin level of 25, indicating Gilberts, and one today measured 21. Is 21 high?
