Cholinergic Hives: Cholinergic urticaria (hives) account for around 30% of all cases of physical urticaria and around 5% of all cases of chronic hives. Onset is usually around the 2nd or 3rd decade of life and has been shown to be more common in males. Triggers include increase in core body temperature and include common triggers like exercise with sweating, strong emotions, and bathing in hot water. See Allergist.

Urticaria: I assume you are asking for the cause of it, it is secondary to unstable mast cells in the skin and are triggered by contact with water. It is benign but annoying.
