Is stinging a normal symptom for cholinergic urticaria when you get warm to hot? it is very painful at its worst.

Dr. John Chiu answered

No: cholinergic urticaria shows up as small itchy bumps and not painful ones usually subsiding within hours . Need to see a dermatologist to find out the cause for your problem especially if there are painful blisters present.
