Yes.: The best results occur with making sure you eat no wheat, sugar, potato, fruit juice, soda, artificial sweeteners, or margarine/hydrogenated fat. You will need to read the ingredients part of every food label to make sure. Sugar also looks like starch, fructose, corn syrup, agave, and honey. Check out a book on getting rid of diabetes by Dr. Mark Hyman.
