A member asked:

How can each person know how much of each type of vitamin they're lacking?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Blood test: Go see your family doc and ask for lab tests to check how much is in your body (www.labcorp.com & www.questdiagnostics.com). Check out http://www.arupconsult.com/Topics/Vitamins.html#tabs=4 for specific tests. Most common in primary care are vitamin B12 (neuropathy) & vitamin D (osteoporosis).
