No.: Epilepsy is not a single disorder, but seizures can start at any age from infancy through old age. Causes may vary, and the condition may worsen or improve over time and the brain matures and changes.

Yea: The onset of epilepsy is in childhood and the elderly, for different reasons, in a bimodal peak. Adults, of course, can have new onset epilepsy for other reasons.

Any age: Although onset of epilepsy is more common in children and adults over 60, there's no age at which it's distinctly uncommon to start having seizures.
