A member asked:

How to have a balanced vegan diet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A vegan diet is not: difficult to balance. Just eat a variety of vegetables, fruits, grains, beans, nuts, & seeds. For more detailed information, check out drmcdougall.com and nutritionfacts.org. Both cite lots of research on the benefits of a plant-based diet. Nutritionfacts.org includes information on the effects of diet on numerous health issues. Much of the concern about "balancing" proteins is unfounded.
