Serious Rx: Red marks after acne lesions, and depressed scars that persist indefinitely, can't be treated by anything available to you. The red is your skin healing. A dermatologist or plastic surgeon has fillers, lasers or microsurgery for scars. Topical benzoyl peroxide as tolerated keeps most new lesions at bay; you physician can add a supplemental Rx if required.

Get serious Rx: I'm sorry your acne has been neglected up to this point. Acne bad enough to leave scars requires prescription-strength rx and you need to get with your physician. The red marks fade in a few months; depressed scars can be made less visible by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon with filler, laser, or microsurgery.

Bleach: These self-cure in a month or two, but you can speed this with a hydroquinone bleach. Don't overdo it or you'll end up with a mess. Best wishes.

Let them fade: They are the new vessels forming to nurture the deep healing connective tissue that was destroyed by the infection. Let them do their job. If you have depressed scars that are no longer actively healing, then you'll need to get with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has a filler, microsurgery or laser ability.

First control acne: Acne is a complex disease treated with a variety of approaches ranging from topical anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, as well as hormonal, medical regimens and surgery. Each case is individually treated and it is difficult to recommend a single cure. See a dermatologist first.
