Gluten Allergy?: Not everyone who has problems from eating gluten is actually allergic to gluten. An allergy is an immune response. We now know that gluten can affect the tight junctions in the gastrointestinal tract, and that is not related to an allergy. You could do an elimination and re-challenge with gluten, and draw a conclusion from that. To say for sure, have lab testing for gluten allergy.
