Another consult: From the sound of things, you're probably a candidate for isotretinoin. You're also 18 now and can decide on your own. Dermatologists may be reluctant to write for this strong stuff for a kid whose parents might get upset over the brutal side effects. However, it's your call now. You'll need systemic medication in any case and a good relationship with a physician. Best wishes.
