What to do if i am diabetic and taking glucophage (metformin) 500mg after lunch and 500 after dinner and became diabetic about 1 month?

Exercise and diet: Physical exercise and diet are critical and probably as important as medicine in dealing with new onset diabetes. If overweight, losing weight by itself can keep diabetes at bay for years. Sleep quality and stress adjustments are also of paramount importance. Good blood glucose control early will prevent severe complications.

Dosage and Time Rx: Glucophage (metformin) should be taken 12 hours apart on full stomach. i.e., with breakfast and dinner. You may need more Glucophage (metformin) possibly.
